New workshop for researchers: Impact with Science Communication
What do you consider impact? Is it publishing a peer-reviewed paper, and hoping a lot of people will read it? In this workshop we look beyond academia and make you think about your goal, audience and the message you are sending. How do you plan to achieve that people want to pay attention to what you are saying? We briefly cover all aspects of science communication, from presentations and infographics to media appearances, and how these can contribute to your impact as a scientist.
This workshop is intended for postdoctoral researchers, assistant professors (UD) and associate professors (UHD) with some experience in science communication. The workshop lasts an afternoon (4 hours) and will be offered twice: on 18 April and 7 June in PLNT, Leiden. On the staff website you will find more information and a registration link.
