Active Bystander training at Archaeology on May 24
On April 30, all regular staff members have received an invitation to register for the Active Bystander training on May 24.
For the registration form, please refer to the mail of the 30th of April, or await the reminder mail that will be sent on Tuesday the 14th of May.
What are you going to learn?
During the workshop you will learn to name unwanted behavior and make it explicit. You will receive tools to deal with unacceptable behavior, including behavior that has become normalized over time.
Topics covered during this workshop:
- Overcoming fear and paralysis in challenging situations.
- Use the right words and facial expressions when dealing with unwanted behavior.
- Sometimes so-called 'micro-inequalities' can lead to unpleasant situations, such as eye rolling, sighing, constant interruptions and unconscious bias. We discuss in detail how you could deal with this.
