Discover our research: Faculty Research Day 2024 at Leiden Law School

3 May 2024

On Thursday 23 May 2024, the Kamerlingh Onnes Gebouw (KOG Building) will transform into a vibrant arena for knowledge sharing, discovery and connection. This year, besides highlighting our academic research, there will be a special focus on the starter grants and the one skill that every researcher has at their disposal: science communication.

Projects, posters and panel discussion
The Faculty Research Day 2024 has various programme components. Dean Suzan Stoter and Director of Research Janine Ubink will open the event. Following a plenary session on science communication, participants will split into parallel session groups focused on ongoing projects from the first round of starter grants. There will also be poster presentations in the designated poster area and, finally, a panel discussion on current developments. At the end of the afternoon, there will be plenty of time to network with other staff during the drinks reception in the restaurant.

Leiden Law School academic symposium
The Faculty Research Day is organised by the Department of Research. It's an annual academic symposium organised for and by academic staff at Leiden Law School. Come along and take this opportunity to discover the full scope of academic research taking place at our faculty!

All sessions will be held in English, with the exception of the panel discussion, which will be in Dutch.

Participants are not required to register for the Faculty Research Day. You are most welcome to join this event on 23 May 2024 even if you have not registered in advance. However, if you do register, it will help us correctly estimate the room bookings and catering required for the Faculty Research Day.
