I joined the LACDR just a few months before corona at the end of 2019.
Works at LACDR because:
The research that is carried out at the LACDR is very interesting and promising. One can learn a lot from each other. We have excellent teachers too and it’s wonderful to collaborate with one another to make our education better for the students.
Favorite childhood memory:
Going on road trip holidays throughout Europe. I would hold a map in my hand and enjoy the border crossing the most.
Best quality?
I work hard and am an honest individual that is always ready to help others. Be it our colleagues or students.
Worst quality?
I find it hard to say no at times. I just want to do everything! My plate can get rather full because of that at times which is hard to juggle all at once.
When I am off I:
I like to read books and take time for myself. I have realized that it is very important to have a moment for yourself. I go for relaxing walks, I explore new places and go for new experiences. I have family living abroad and try to spend time with them too. I also love to spend time exercising.
Next scheduled holiday:
Because of COVID I have started to explore the Netherlands. I still have to decide where I will go next now that restrictions are gone.
Favorite music:
I like all genres. It really depends on my mood to be honest.
