Every six years, Leiden University publishes a new strategic plan that gives direction to the choices we make in the coming years.

At faculty and study programme level there are various regulations in place to ensure that everything runs as it should. For example, there are thesis and faculty regulations, as well as rules and guidelines on assessments, exams, degree classifications and plagiarism.

The POPcorner The Hague is a platform for and by students. As a student you can develop your own initiatives that contribute to an inclusive academic community.

During your student days there might be times when you could use a little extra support or interaction. Talking to other students can help, whether it’s about study-related matters or more personal topics. The university offers peer support in the form of support groups and buddy programmes.

Are you looking for someone to study with, or would you like to come into contact with other students for support or social activities? Sign up for one of the student buddy programmes.

Your student registration will expire automatically at the end of the academic year. However, if you end your study programme earlier, you must cancel your student registration.
