How can a participatory theatre-based pedagogy support pre-service teachers in The Netherlands in developing critical awareness and an active change-agent identity with respect to diversity, equity and inclusion in educational contexts?

The dissertation’s general aim is to investigate how a peer educator intervention can promote social acceptance of LGBT in pre-vocational education and whether the activities in this intervention ensure that students learn to respectfully deal with LGBT people in school.

This thesis describes the genetic and prokaryotic diversity of giant barrel sponges.
