Studium Generale organises lectures, debates, symposia and film screenings on diverse academic subjects. The General Studies programme is for students, staff and anyone else who may be interested.
The aim of General Studies is to garner interest in the sciences and to highlight the links between different sciences and the relationship between science and society.
The lectures are delivered not only by talent from outside the University but by the University’s own lecturers and researchers. The activities of General Studies are therefore an opportunity to showcase the teaching and research at the University.
Unless otherwise indicated, the activities of General Studies at Leiden University are accessible to all and free of charge. You do not need to register.
