New website for prospective students
The prospective students site has been updated. The new website will go live on Friday 1 September. Prospective students can now find all the information they need about teaching programmes at Leiden University in one place. The information about bachelor’s and master’s programmes has been improved so that it corresponds better with the wishes and questions from prospective students. And the site has a new design, that reflects the external site, including much more room for images (videos and photo material).
Complex and extensive project
This release of the new student recruitment site is a complex and extensive project, on which many people have been working over recent months. It is inevitable with such a project that when it goes live there will almost certainly be some errors or omissions. Extra technical and editorial capacity is available in the coming weeks to resolve any issues. The site will also be further improved over the coming period.
The renewal of the prospective students site is part of the DIS2.0 (‘Digital Information Strategy’) programme. In earlier phases of this project, the website for external visitors, the students website, the library website and the staff website have been renewed. If you have any questions about the prospective students website, please send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the editor-in-chief of your faculty or department.
