Problems with Blackboard in Internet Explorer? Use another browser
Since the last Blackboard update (end of March 2019), you may have been unable to:
- upload files
- post attachments
- select students for emails.
That is because the latest version of Blackboard does not work properly in the Internet Explorer web browser.
We therefore advise you to use another browser for Blackboard.
Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox
Windows 10 workstations have Microsoft’s new browser Edge installed. This can be found via the Windows Start menu > Microsoft Edge.
Alternatively you can install Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome on your computer. This can be done via the Windows Start menu > Software Center tile. Mozilla Firefox is the preferred browser of these two because of the GDPR (Dutch: AVG). On Apple computers you can also use Safari.
