1st floor atrium Gorlaeus Building closed from Monday 22 July to Friday 2 August 2019
From Monday 22 July to Friday 2 August, the 1st floor of the atrium in the Gorlaeus Building is not accessible. During this period the wooden floor on the 1st floor will be sanded and varnished. Alternative routes are indicated by the relevant entrances.
How do I get to the Gorlaeus Building?
During the closure you enter the Gorlaeus Building via the ground floor of the LMUY and the courtyard garden. From there you can reach the wings DE1, EE1 and GE1 via the elevator, stairs and the central corridor. Educational and meeting rooms on both the ground and first floor cannot be used. Staircases, elevators and emergency exits remain accessible.
Access to the Gorlaeus Building via the 1st floor of the LMUY and the walkway from the Gorlaeus Faculty Office is closed. Via the Gorlaeus Faculty Office it is possible to enter the other floors of the Gorlaeus Building via the staircase.
For example, nitrogen containers can be transported via the courtyard garden. In case of problems, please contact Kees Schoonwater.
