Camera survey entrances Science Campus
On 12, 16, 17 and 18 September from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. DTV Consultants will conduct a survey into how many people enter the bicycle parkings and entrances of the Science Campus buildings. This is necessary for the design and safety of the main entrance of the future Gorlaeus Building (new building phase 2) and the new bicycle parking.
The survey will map the situation and crowds around the bicycle parkings and entrances at the start of the academic year. Video recordings will made with observation cameras. An employee of DTV Consultants will be present around the research locations during the recordings and will be available for questions about the study.
The camera images are intended for research purposes only. They will be treated in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that the images will only be used for the analysis of visitor numbers per location and that they will be destroyed after the study has been completed. It is estimated that this will take about two weeks. For questions about your privacy, please contact Leiden University ‘s data protection officer via email@example.com.
