New form tool, training in Gorlaeus Building
Do you use simple forms for registrations for events, meetings or feedback? Leiden University now has a new form tool: Formdesk. On 12 November you can follow a training course in Gorlaeus Building to get to know the new system.
Formdesk for all employees of Leiden University
The predecessor of Formdesk is Jotform. That system is outdated and the risk of data breaches is high. That is why Jotform will be phased out in the coming period. Jotform will remain in the air until around March 2020.
The new online tool Formdesk has been in use since 4 November. All employees of the university can use this tool.
What do you use Formdesk for?
The new tool is for people who want to collect data via a web form: for events, meetings and feedback that are non-confidential and do not contain special personal data for which no corporate system is present in the education, research or operational domain.
There are two dates on which you can follow a training course to learn how to work with Formdesk:
- Tuesday 12 November, 13.00 – 15.00 hrs– Gorlaeus Building (DM021)
- Thursday 21 November, 13.00 – 15.00 hrs – Gravensteen
At first, new users will have to apply for an account. Later (as soon as this is technically possible) all Leiden University staff can easily log in using ULCN. More information about applying for an account and support will follow soon.
