Sign up for the Yellow Lab tour
On 14 November, associate professor Mark Westmoreland will give a talk in the recently renovated Yellow Lab in the Pieter de la Court building. The Yellow Lab is set up to promote small group work around shared monitors.
Mark will share his experience using the room, and we will discuss how similar rooms can be developed in other contexts. For example, Studio Classroom in the Huygens building, PJ Veth 0.06 en Lipsuis 217.
Tea and coffee will be provided. The meeting is in English.
The meeting is relevant for anyone looking for tips to activate their small group teaching. And for any non-academic staff interested in developing active learning classrooms.

About the Active Learning Network
The active learning network regularly organises visits to the active learning classrooms of Leiden University. The network is a part of the Saltswat project. The project aims to accelerate 'active teaching and learning' at Leiden University and to build a community of teachers, advisors, and facilities managers. Academic, non-academic staff, and students are welcome to join the network.
