Film about our faculty
On March 9th, the film 'Humans of Humanities' about the staff members, students and alumni of the Leiden Faculty of Humanities will be premiered in one of Leiden's most beautiful cinemas: Trianon. The music for this film was especially composed by ACPA PhD and composer Aart Strootman.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion led by philosopher Victor Gijsbers about the visibility of the humanities. Are the humanities visible enough in society? And how can we optimise its influence?
