New Strategic Plan Faculty of Archaeology
The Faculty Board would like to bring to your attention the new Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Archaeology.
The final version follows an intensive period of consultation with the Faculty Council, with the Faculty's committees and with representatives of staff and students. We received much positive input, a number of suggestions, and some critical comments. This feedback was incorporated into the final plan.
The Strategic Plan sets the course of the Faculty in the coming years. It is our hope that we will all be involved in carrying out the plan in a robust, fair and ambitious manner. The Strategic Plan is not set in stone, but is flexible enough to respond to new opportunities, as well as to unforeseen misfortunes.
An implementation plan will follow shortly. In the implementation phase we will identify concrete actions arising from the plan and trace a time-line. We have already started working on some aspects of the plan, while others have yet to be tackled.
The Board will take into account the signals given in the recent personnel monitor. We are counting on the active, positive, but critical, contributions of our staff and students.
