Tip: additional options for meetings in Teams
Are you organising a meeting in Teams? Now you have the opportunity to have participants wait 'in the lobby' before you allow them to join the meeting. This can be useful if you want to invite some students or guests for part of the meeting only. You can also determine who is allowed to present during the meeting.
Where can you set the extra options?
- Schedule a meeting via the calendar in Teams or via Outlook.
- Invite everyone and save the agenda item.
- Open the agenda item again and click Meeting Options at the top right of the window (sometimes hidden under 3 dots, depending on your screen width) or Meeting Options above the university logo.

- Now you will see a new window. Indicate here who you want to first wait in the lobby and who is allowed to present.
- Save your changes.
