Workshop 'Privacy for researchers:data protection in a changing world'
28 January is European Data Protection Day, a good time to reflect on the way we handle data. A lot has changed in the field of privacy over the last years. With the rise of social media, our data have become more profitable than ever before. Governments all over the world have introduced legislation to protect the data of their citizens, like the GDPR. In the meantime, we are all working digitally, many of us from home.
How do you protect your data and the data of your research participants?
In the Privacy for researchers workshop, our data protection officer Ricardo Catalan will talk about the latest developments in the field of privacy. The workshop is interactive, with room for questions and discussions and lasts from 16:00 - 17:00 hrs.
