About the lecture and speaker
Prof. Peter van Dommelen, Brown University, will present the key results of his research on the Nuraghi, the famous dry-stone walled towers of Sardinia.
Van Dommelen is Director of the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World of Brown University. He is Joukowsky Family Professor in Archaeology and Professor of Anthropology and Italian Studies. Van Dommelen is an internationally known Mediterranean archaeologist, whose research and teaching revolve around the rural Mediterranean past and present.
