Aurelie van ’t Slot appointed as Policy Advisor Internationalization, Diversity and Inclusion
Aurelie van ’t Slot has been appointed as Policy Advisor Internationalization, Diversity and Inclusion of the Faculty of Humanities, effective 15 January 2021.
Her main tasks are to develop, coordinate and implement faculty policy in the field of internationalization of education, and diversity and inclusion in the learning and working environment. Her policy work is guided by efforts to increase and sustain a diverse faculty and student body, as well as to develop a climate of equity and inclusion.
About Aurelie
Aurelie is a proud former first-generation student. She has a background in cultural studies and participated in the Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School. She completed the Research Master Asian Studies at Leiden University, during which she did research on the celebrity authorship of the Japanese author Murakami Haruki. She previously worked as policy advisor on higher education and quality assurance.
