Getting to know Horizon Europe from the inside-out!

Participating in the evaluation of EC research proposals can be a valuable experience in learning the ins and outs of the EC’s funding process.

How to get involved?

To get involved, you need to register in the Portal Expert Database. As an evaluator your role could include the following: 
•    assessing applications for funding (including tenders)
•    monitoring of projects and contracts
•    opinions and advice on preparation, implementation and evaluation of EC programmes
•    design of policies

The call for experts is permanently open, so it is never too late to sign up.

Registration required

Registration in the Portal Expert Database, is a prerequisite for being contracted by the EC to work as an evaluator or to monitor any EC funding programme. Registration does not automatically mean you will be selected, but if you login to the system regularly (about once a year) and update your profile and keywords, your chances increase!
