Workshop: Strengthening academic collaboration between the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and Leiden University
The role of universities has expanded from purely knowledge-based generation, into proactive problem-solving agencies. To do so, interdisciplinary and internationalization frameworks have proof to be avenues for enhancing, strengthening, and upgrading the outcomes derived from universities. Consequently, international academic cooperation can offer opportunities for exchange, generation of new valuable knowledge and capacity building within partner institutions. Academic collaboration between Leiden University and UNAM is reflected in the 113 shared scientific publications in natural science between 2010 to 2019. It is expected that the number of shared outcomes may be twofold if humanities, social sciences and co-tutoring of students are considered.
This first workshop will create an informal space for sharing current achievements reached between the two institutions as well as offering the possibility for new engagement. See here for more information and registration.
