MIASA Public Round Table on “Female Academic Careers in Africa: Strategies and Funding - 25 June 2021
On 25 June 2021 the MIASA Public Round Table on “Female Academic Careers in Africa: Strategies and Funding” will take place from 9:30-11:30 UTC (time in Accra and Dakar).
The Roundtable takes place in the context of a workshop on Female Academic Careers in Africa offered by the Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA), University of Ghana, in collaboration with the German Historical Institute Paris and the Heinrich Boell Foundation Senegal. It is mainly funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in Germany. The workshop brings together 23 early career female scholars from across Africa. It is framed in a hybrid way with groups meeting in Dakar, Bamako and Accra as well as one only-online group.
The round table is open to a wider audience.
