New Comenius Calls (2022) published, prepare your application.

Higher education is innovating quicker than ever in these exceptional times. Do you feel inspired to further develop your innovation and does this deserve a national stage? Then why not submit your proposal?

Innovation projects for improving education

With a Comenius grant you can carry out innovation projects that will help improve higher education. The calls for proposals for the Comenius Programme 2022 can be found on the NRO website, where you will also find further information about the programme. What are the themes for the Teaching and Senior Fellowships in 2022?

Each year three themes are defined for the Teaching and Senior Fellowships, alongside a fourth, free theme.

The themes for the Comenius Calls 2022 are:
•    Theme 1: Studying together on the hybrid campus
•    Theme 2: Student autonomy in flexible teaching
•    Theme 3: Transdisciplinary collaboration
•    Theme 4: Free theme covering the breadth of ‘Fit for the future’

The deadlines

The deadlines for submitting a memorandum of understanding are:
•    Teaching Fellows: 14 September 2021
•    Senior Fellows: 7 September 2021
•    Leadership Fellows: 9 September 2021 

For the Senior and Leadership Fellows there will be an internal selection because a maximum of one Senior proposal per faculty or interfaculty institute and one Leadership proposal for the whole university may be submitted.
