15 and 16 July: restrictions on using uSis
uSis will not be available between 12.30 and 13.00 on 15 and 16 July.
Users who are logged in to uSis at 12.30 on 15 and 16 July will automatically be logged out. In the hours that follow you will be able to log in via a ticketing system. This may mean that it takes some time to log in to the system. Please only use uSis if this is extremely urgent, and only perform actions that won’t take up much capacity.
Registration opens for bachelor’s and master’s courses and exams on 15 and 16 July respectively. As it may become so busy in the first hours after registration opens that uSis becomes overloaded, a ticketing system will be used to protect uSis and to make sure users know where they stand.
Within the Harmonisation of Educational Logistics programme, a new, optimised registration process has been developed in collaboration with the faculties. One aspect of this is ensuring the registration period for all students has a clear and unambiguous start date as of the 2021/2022 academic year. In future this process will be supported by the student portal and the new MyStudymap registration functionality.
As the student portal will only go live in November 2021, the ticketing system is a one-off measure during the transition period.
