Oude UB to start Hybrid Working pilot on Tuesday 5 October
In its latest press conference, the government changed its advice on working from home. As of 25 September the following applies: work from home if you can and at the office if you need to. This means we can come to the office more often.
Hybrid Working pilot at Oude UB
On Tuesday 5 October we will be starting the Hybrid Working pilot at Oude UB (Rapenburg 70). One of the main aspects of the pilot is that people who work at Oude UB will be able to make flexible working arrangements. You decide – within certain limits – how, when and where you work. In consultation with your manager and immediate colleagues, you determine when you need to come to the office.
Book your workspace in SharedDesk
For the days when you will be coming to the office, you will need to book a workspace in SharedDesk. You can book different types of workspace in this system: quiet spaces, small meeting rooms or spaces in larger rooms. Everyone can also book certain meeting rooms in SharedDesk. If you have any questions, contactshareddesk@ufb.leidenuniv.nl.

The Hybrid Working pilot is the opportunity to discover what does and doesn’t work. The project group will monitor how things are going during the pilot and make any necessary changes. This means your experiences are very important. So if you have any questions or suggestions or if you are facing any problems, tell the project group member who is representing your unit:
