Do you have a great idea for a research project on Roman archaeology in North-West Europe, but not the means to execute this? Then the Fund for Roman Archaeology might be something for you!

For 2022 there is €5000 available for one or two projects (depending on size). 

Criteria

• Your research is focused on Roman archaeology in the period of the first century BC to the end of the 5th century AD in the area of North-West Europe, either within or outside the Roman imperial borders.
• Your research is focused on material culture in the broadest sense of the term.
• You are a student of the Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University
