Mechanical ventilation keeps Van Steenis lecture rooms save

10 February 2022

All teaching areas in the Van Steenis building are ventilated in line with the requirements of the RIVM and the building regulations in regards to Covid-19. In all teaching areas this is managed centrally via mechanical ventilation which is switched on early in the morning. While reducing the virus is all about testing and vaccinating, good ventilation can help to reduce the chance of infection.

The ventilation is adjusted to the maximum capacity of the room. It is therefore important to keep to the maximum occupancy of a room.
