Teacher Support Desk Archaeology: for all your teaching related help

8 March 2022

Didactical questions? Teaching related technical Issues? We take care of them!

You are busy enough teaching. What you need is quick informative help without too much hassle. The Teacher Support Desk Archaeology will be your single portal for both technical and didactical questions, aiming to improve education quality by simple support, saving you time.

Tanja de Bie (CFI) and Eva van Leeuwen (ICLON) are available to help with didactical questions about diverse topics, such as:

  • (online) education
  • online tools
  • educational design
  • blended learning
  • playful learning
  • diversity and inclusion
  • digital testing in ANS
  • the BKO trajectory
  • ...and more.

Or we can connect you to people from our network to help you. In the near future support for Brightspace and other technological questions will also be fielded by the Teacher Support Desk with a newly appointed ICT in Education coordinator.
By working in the Van Steenis building, we want to build a visible and accessible teacher support network. We also make use of the central Teacher Support website.

Let’s have a cup of coffee

To help teachers as good as possible, we would like to know what your needs are. Please let us know how we can help you! What kind of topics would you like to see covered in workshops and lunch lectures (so called Lunchbytes) in the coming year? Feel welcome to visit our office and have a cup of coffee with us. Or invite us for a digital meeting.

You can find us on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 13.00 - 17.00 hours in the Van Steenis building, room A.2.02.

It is also possible to meet us via MS Teams or to contact us by e-mail: teachersupport@arch.leidenuniv.nl.  E-mail will be read on a daily basis and we aim to answer your e-mail within 36 hours. We hope to meet you soon!
