Call for proposals: second meeting of Cultures of Victimology
We would please like to invite you to the second meeting of Cultures of Victimology, this time as a one-day symposium, on June 24th, 2022, in the Kamerlingh Onnes Building of Leiden University. The day will start at 09:30, the end time is tbc.
We define ‘cultural victimology’ as a field that studies victimhood, in the broadest sense of the concept, and responses to it, especially from a perspective of culture studies and adjacent fields. This event aims to bring together researchers from a broad range of fields that have an interest in cultural perspectives on victimhood, so as to learn from each other, and, in the future, collaborate and do ground-breaking and exciting new, interdisciplinary, research.
Presentations at this event may be in either Dutch or English.
Register, before June 17th, 2022, via the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/tweede-meeting-cultures-of-victimology-tickets-220539980017
