Lecture hall building closed from 22 June 2022

13 June 2022

From Monday 20 June 2022 to Friday 26 August 2022 the Lecture Hall Building will be closed. The lecture halls and restaurant will be renovated, and the current entrance will be demolished. A new entrance with a wide, appealing staircase to the first floor will be built directly to the Campusplein. The renovation will be carried out in phases so that education can continue. The renovation is expected to be completed in 2023.

New entrance and balcony

In the first phase of the renovation, the Lecture Hall building will get a new entrance and the facade on the 1st floor of the restaurant will be renewed. The entrance to the Lecture Hall building will be on the new campus square. A wide, inviting staircase will lead you to the 1st floor of the building.

New location for Aesculapius, Chemisch Dispuut Leiden and LIFE

Because of the renovation, the study associations Aesculapius, Chemical Dispuut Leiden and LIFE have moved to the LMUY. They have got a nice spot in the passage from the Huygens to the LMUY.
