Maximum number of Open Access articles in Emerald journals reached
The Open Access agreement that was concluded with Emerald publishers on behalf of the universities in the Netherlands is based on a maximum of 86 articles this year.
This agreed maximum number of articles has now been reached. As a result, articles that are due to be accepted during the remainder of 2022 will unfortunately no longer be eligible for Open Access, nor will these articles be published Open Access after 1 January 2023.
Articles that will be accepted on or after 1 January 2023 will again be eligible to be published Open Access without costs to the author.
