JobMotion to switch from monthly to weekly pay

14 December 2022

JobMotion will switch from monthly to weekly pay as of 2 January 2023. This means that from January all staff who are employed via JobMotion will be paid on a weekly or four-weekly basis. This is necessary because JobMotion will be moving to a new automated system in 2023.

Advantages

Switching to weekly pay has many advantages:

  • JobMotion is responsible for sick pay
  • all-in rate
  • invoicing of hours actually worked
  • weekly invoicing
  • staff accrue holiday for each hour worked, which makes it clear what they have accrued
  • staff can take accrued holiday via the timesheet
  • more insight and control over the hours worked.

Rates

As everything is included in one rate, you will not face unexpected costs. With the new method, the monthly/fixed-hour rate will be discontinued and will merge into the existing timesheet rate.

Staff via JobMotion

We have asked all staff members who work via JobMotion to state their preference for weekly or four-weekly payment. If we do not receive this information from them (or do not receive this in time), we will switch to weekly payment from 2 January 2023.

New working method

From now on, timesheets must be approved weekly. The staff member fills in their hours and their manager approves these in UbplusOnline.
