View the results of the 2022 Personnel Monitor

19 December 2022

The results of the 2022 Personnel Monitor are in! This year, staff members were invited to complete the survey from 17 October to 11 November. In total, 58.9% of all staff members and 33.2% of PhD candidates completed the questionnaire. Thank you to all our colleagues who took the time to make their voices heard!

Curious about the results?

Starting from Monday 19 December, you can view the results of the Personnel Monitor by logging into the secure online environment (My Feedback) of Effectory, the external agency that ran the monitor for us. On the afternoon of 19 December, you will receive an e-mail with a link from Effectory. If you are a manager, you will receive an additional e-mail with a link to a separate environment (My Effectory) where you can gain insight into the results and potential follow-up actions.

To view the results

  1. Click on the ‘View the results’ button in the Effectory e-mail.
  2. Create an account using your Leiden University e-mail address. Select a password with at least one uppercase letter, one special character, and one number.
  3. Log in and view the results. You can compare your answers to those of your team or unit (on condition that enough people completed the questionnaire) and with the University as a whole.
  4. If you need help viewing the results, you can find detailed instructions, a guide, and an instruction video on the staff page.

Helpdesk

If you cannot log in to the online environment, if you have another technical question about the results, or if you did not receive an e-mail from Effectory, do not hesitate to contact the Effectory Helpdesk. They can help you further.

For more information about the Personnel Monitor and follow-up, as well as for a short summary of the results, see the staff page and the FAQ.

What’s next?

Based on the results, we can talk openly to each other about what works well, what needs attention, and where we can improve things. In the coming period, managers will be discussing the results with each other and with their team, so that they can work on this together. In addition, it is the intention to use, among other things, the input from these discussions from February to determine the themes and follow-up actions for the university, the faculties and units and to follow up on them.

Webinars for managers

To support managers in talking about the results with their teams, we are organising webinars in the week of 9 January. The English session will take place on Thursday 12 January from 10.00 until 11.00 hours. During the session, we will consider the following: How can you best interpret the results of the Monitor? And how do you then work with the results within your team? Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board Martijn Ridderbos will be joining the webinars on behalf of the Board. All managers will receive an invitation to the webinars via Outlook no later than on Wednesday 21 December. We warmly invite all managers to join us for these webinars! If you did not receive an invitation, please contact Mirella Imthorn.

For support in following up on the results of the Monitor, managers can contact their HR adviser.
