New policy: Maximum number of pages per publication in Brightspace to be lowered
From out this academic year 23/24
Starting this academic year, the number of pages you are allowed to post on Brightspace from the same publication will be lowered.
One of the most important changes to come into effect this academic year is the maximum number of pages per publication you are allowed to post on Brightspace per course. Previously, that number was 50 pages for books of 200 pages and more. For books of less than 200 pages, the maximum was 25% of the total number of pages. Due to a new contract, the maximum number of pages is now 40 pages for books of 200 pages and more. For books of less than 200 pages, the maximum is now 20% of the total number of pages.
The university has an agreement with the UvO foundation for posting copyrighted material on our learning environment Brightspace. This agreement includes the changes mentioned above. For more information on this topic, please visit the Leiden University Library website.
