As of September 2023 the pilot AscMe will start: the digital platform where the SSC and course coordinators can work together efficiently in a user-friendly environment.

To contribute to the reducing of work pressure of lecturers, the OSC has designed a digital lecturer platform: AscMe. The platform must improve the provision of information between OSC and course coordinators and support the (educational logistics) processes as well as possible. Immediately after the start of the course, it enables the course coordinator to see what is expected of the coordinator for that course, making e-mail traffic regarding upcoming deadlines superfluous. In addition, AscMe aims to eliminate filling out forms/information more than once, by linking it to uSis and by re-using information that the course coordinator entered last time (e.g. the learning objectives or materials used for evaluations). So: more efficient collaboration, less email traffic and a better overview of all tasks; allowing course coordinators to be (more) in control!
