A footbridge is being built between the University Library and the Cluster Zuid building. Construction started 7 September 2023 and will last several months. The bridge will be realised on floor 1 and provides a fast and dry connection between both buildings. These construction works could cause some noise nuisance.

The windows will be installed in the bridge structure starting January 23, 2024. The construction work and installation of glass could cause some noise and smell nuisance. This step in the building process will be finished on Tuesday 30 January 2024. As temperatures outside drop, it may also be colder in the study rooms on floor 1. The passage from the University Library will only be realised at the end of the renovation of Cluster South. Until then, the walkway is still inaccessible.

Students can use other study places in the University Library as an alternative.
