Need immediate assistance abroad? University’s external emergency number temporarily changed
Are you staying abroad for study or work at Leiden University and do you need help in an emergency? Or are you in the Netherlands but not currently in any university building? Due to a technical fault, the university’s external emergency number (+31 71 527 6666) is currently unavailable. If you need to call for help, call the alternative emergency number instead: +31 32 033 1343 (available 24/7, also for students and staff who are abroad). Please note that this number can only be reached from a mobile phone.

Are you in a university building and do you require immediate assistance? Call the building's internal alarm number. This number varies per location and can be found on the yellow sticker on all work telephones. Outside of office hours this alarm number is always +31 71 527 4444.
