Register for the 2024 Staff Symposium on Student Well-being – or watch the livestream on 2 April

21 March 2024

Are you a lecturer, study adviser or student counsellor or do you have a lot of contact with students in any other way? Why not register for the Student Well-being Staff Symposium on Tuesday 2 April 2024? This year’s focus will be not only on student well-being but also on your well-being as a staff member. The symposium will be the first step toward a university community where student and staff well-being go hand in hand.

Programme

Professor of Neuropsychology Erik Scherder will deliver the keynote at the symposium. He is the man who fascinated the Netherlands with his appearances on De Wereld Draait Door and DWDD University and is considered an expert on brain science. He is also the initiator of the Ommetjes-app, which helps people to turn going for a walk into a habit.

During the workshop rounds you’ll be able to develop your skills and knowledge of both student well-being and your own well-being as a staff member. The topics covered include time management, resilience, a healthy diet and supporting students who struggle with the pressure to succeed. Don’t wait too long to register: some workshops are limited to a maximum number of participants!

Register now!

The symposium will take place at the ECC event centre in Leiden on 2 April 2024 from 09.30 to 16.30. Register below to attend.
