Maliebaan Zuid car park reopening soon

15 March 2024

The Maliebaan Zuid car park (PMB-Zuid) will reopen within a few months. As soon as this and the Maliebaan Noord car park are open, the alternative parking option at Haagweg will cease. We trust that the garages will provide adequate parking.

Changes to Maliebaan Zuid car park

The following changes have been made to the Maliebaan Zuid car park:

  • The entrance is now at street level. You will see the intercom/card reader as soon as you approach.
  • The car park now works with number plate recognition. You will need to scan your LU-card or season ticket once and then your car registration number to be linked to this. The next time you come, the reader will recognise your car and you will no longer need to scan your card. Your registration number must be legible and your number plate clean. If you will be coming in another car, you will need to scan your card, so always bring your card with you.
  • The route, parking spaces and layout have changed, so you may want to allow extra time the first time you come in. Cars now share the car park with scooters and scooters use the same entrance as cars. There are several spaces specifically for scooters.

Good to know

Follow the signs and park in a parking space.  Parking outside of the marked spaces is not permitted in PMB-Zuid. We will let you know as soon as the exact opening date is known. Save your questions until after the opening and your first time parking there.
