Take part in the survey about academic management

3 April 2024

The Dutch Network of Women Professors (LNVH), in collaboration with all Dutch universities, is conducting research into Academic Management in Dutch academia. Despite the increased attention to academic management, we still know little about who fulfils the various roles and tasks and how influence, recognition and rewards are experienced. Will you participate in a survey that aims to gain more insight?

This survey's goal is to gain more insight into the dynamics of academic management and the distribution and allocation of managerial and administrative tasks. Additionally, a more exploratory approach will be adopted, focusing on the experience of power and influence, and perceived recognition for academic management.

As part of this research, all assistant professors, associate professors, and full professors working at the 14 Dutch universities will be invited to participate in the questionnaire in order to obtain the most representative view of the current situation.

Participation in this research is entirely voluntary and anonymous. Filling out the survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

The results of the research will be summarized in a public report with findings and (policy) recommendations to be published by the Dutch Network of Women Professors and will be fed back to the individual universities. If you have any questions or comments, you can contact the researchers via academicmanagement@eur.nl.
