Evacuation in the Pieter de la Court building
Today, there was an evacuation in the Pieter de la Court building. The fire alarm was activated by a smoke detector in the kitchen of the restaurant. This was due to work being carried out that unexpectedly caused a lot of steam.
We understand that such an evacuation can impact our staff and students, for example, students who are taking exams. Many thanks again for the cooperation and the smooth handling of this evacuation. We hope that the unexpected visit from the ice cream truck helped to ease the inconvenience a little.
