KOG and Old Observatory (Sterrewacht) reopen on 18 May according to regular opening hours
Earlier today, in consultation with the central incident team, the difficult decision was made to close the KOG building and the Old Observatory (Sterrewacht) as a precaution. The decision was made due to signals in the KOG building, partly in light of the protest at the Academy Building. The safety of students and staff members is our first priority.
We deeply regret that our ongoing and scheduled activities could not continue. If required, support can be given to those who have missed valuable teaching moments, in consultation with the course coordinator.
Regular opening hours will resume as of tomorrow, the 18th of May. Please check the website for the latest updates.
