Share your research! Media training for PhD students starts this autumn.
Use the media and social media to reach the general public and raise your academic profile. In 2025, researchers at Leiden Law School can take part in two great training courses organised by HRM Learning & Development with various start dates in September and November.
In the training course Academic outreach: an introduction to sharing your research via social and conventional media, you will learn how to engage the general public through your research. Engaging the general public is not only fun – it can also enhance your academic profile. In this workshop, you will identify the most engaging parts of your research and discover how to use a variety of media channels to share your research.
This is a six-hour online training course given in English. The couse is also open to staff from other faculties.
