With the Dutch elections fast approaching, WOinActie and the FNV Onderwijs en Onderzoek and AOb unions are holding a campaign meeting at Dom Square in Utrecht on Monday 27 October. Various speakers will offer their perspectives before a live screening of the party leaders’ debate that the EFR study association and the EenVandaag TV show organise.

Political parties have outlined their education plans over the past few weeks, with some wanting to scrap the spending cuts, whereas others wish to extend them. Last year, many students and staff protested against the funding cuts to higher education. With the Netherlands going to the polls on 29 October, this is your chance to have your say.
