Attend the training: ‘Standing together against sexual misconduct at Leiden University’

10 November 2025

From 24 November to 8 December 2025, Leiden University’s The Hague Campus will host the project HEAR ME NOW, which aims to create open dialogue about sexual misconduct within and around the university community.

In addition to a powerful exhibition and workshops for students, we are offering a series of trainings for staff. These sessions provide in-depth exploration of how to identify, address, and prevent sexual misconduct.

What is the training about?

The training for professionals, developed by Centrum 16.22, aims to equip staff with practical tools to recognise and prevent sexual misconduct. You'll learn how to guide and initiate converstations about the topic. The training also addresses the role of men in preventing sexual misconduct, using the pyramid of violence as a conceptual framework.

You will practice professional responses through case studies. The session is highly interactive: you will engage in active learning methods, reflect on your professional role, and learn how to address one another constructively within this sensitive context.
