New ordering system for catering, starting 1 June
From 1 June 2026, the catering service of the University Facility Services (UFB) will switch to a new online ordering system. You can now place catering orders for meetings and gatherings of up to 50 people through this new platform.
What will change?
The new system is considerably more user-friendly than the previous one. Products are better organised and include photos, so you know exactly what you are ordering. Product information such as ingredients and prices is also displayed more clearly.
From 1 June, all orders will go through the new system. The old ordering channel will be discontinued. Make sure to update any shortcuts or bookmarks to the new link.
The ordering process is also changing for external parties. Are you affiliated with Leiden University but not an employee? You can then place orders via the order form for external parties.
Catering for more than 50 people can still be ordered with party catering via partycatering@ufb.leidenuniv.nl.
What can you order?
Through the catering service of the UFB you can order almost anything: from coffee and tea with snacks to full lunch arrangements, drinks boxes and buffets.
