Put your idea for Lifelong Learning education into practice with an LLO Seed Grant

13 October 2026

Are you an FSW teacher and do you have a good idea for Lifelong Learning (LLO) education, like training for professionals? Put your idea into practice with an LLO Seed Grant!

Take the first step

LLO Seed Grants (€4,000 per project) are intended to stimulate the development phase of innovative training programmes for professionals. The grant helps educators take the first step in developing innovative LLO programmes for professionals. Proposals relating to the five key profile themes for FSW – ‘Social transitions’, ‘Generation of the future’, ‘Health and well-being’, ‘AI for humans, society and science’ and ‘Sustainabilty and biodiversity’ – will be given priority this year.

Tangible output

The project will run from January 2027 to December 2027. By the end of the project period, your project must deliver at least one tangible output, such as a detailed course design, a syllabus or a pilot version of a module. Each project proposal must include a letter of approval from the director of education at your institution. So please ensure your idea is agreed upon in good time.
