Call: LUF grant for a PhD position for a candidate from Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius or Saba
The Judge Lo-Sin-Sjoe Study and Research Fund at the Leiden University Fund (LUF) is offering a grant to co-fund a PhD position at Leiden University for a student/PhD candidate from Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius or Saba. The named fund will cover the salary costs. The total amount available is €250,000.
Do you know a Master's student or alumnus who would be interested in a PhD position and would qualify for this grant? Be sure to share the call with them! Pre-proposals can be submitted via the LUF grant portal between 1 and 31 March 2027. After the deadline, the Committee for Academic Expenditure (CWB) will assess the submitted pre-proposals and decide which applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
