On 3 November, the Faculty of Social Sciences is organising its annual Education Festival. This year’s theme is assessment innovation, following on from the new faculty assessment vision to be published this autumn. It will be an afternoon packed with interesting sessions on new developments in the field of assessment and evaluation. 

Topics to be covered during the sessions include threshold exams, application-based assessment, 'Very Short Answer Questions’, a presentation on ‘ungrading’ followed by a student discussion, and, of course, the new faculty assessment vision. In between sessions you can enjoy a drink and some cake with your fellow attendees.

The final programme will be announced shortly. Faculty staff will receive an invitation by email.
