Start pilot for more efficient cleaning at FWN
From 1 October, two departments will take part in a pilot to find out how we can make office cleaning practices more efficient. This pilot is a collaboration between the UFB and cleaning partner GOM, and will run until 24 December.
A clear desk is important for effective cleaning. Cleaning staff do not move personal belongings, books or equipment. As a result, they may not be able to clean every area. Through this pilot, UFB and GOM aim to make employees more aware of how they can help improve the cleaning of their workplace. A card will be placed on each desk indicating the day on which the office is cleaned. This lets employees know when to clear their desks.
The purpose of the pilot is to determine if this approach increases awareness and contributes to cleaner and more pleasant workplaces. Employees in the participating departments will receive further information about the practical arrangements by email.
